Vietnam MW ("VMW") is an established Vietnamese company which provides services to firms operating in Vietnam's electricity industry, technology transfer in the fields of electricity activity, developing optimization software, forecasting software, power market software for long-term planning, short-term planning and bidding strategy in power market.
VMW is a technical electricity industry specialist firm with understanding of most aspects of Vietnam's electricity industry and experience in interoperating with international firms. VMW has provided consulting and other services to government firms in Vietnam, private firms in Vietnam, and services to international firms that have an interest in Vietnam's electricity industry. VMW has undertaken work for World Bank (WB), Asian Development Bank (ADB), Electricity Regulatory Authority of Vietnam (ERAV), Vietnam Electricity (EVN), National Transmission Corporation (NPT), 5 Power Distribution Corporations (PCs), Petro Vietnam Power Corporation (PVPower), Generation Companies, foreign investors and IPP investors.

- SCADA/EMS, SCADA/DMS, metering system consulting services: VMW consults on the technical specifications for: SCADA systems, EMS functionality of EMS and DMS system, tele-metering systems (AMI, AMR);

- Generator decision-support systems to support bidding in Vietnam's electricity market: assisting power plant to develop and optimise their bidding strategy;
- Electricity price and power purchase agreement: provision of electricity modelling services to support negotiations for power purchase agreements;
- Power system engineering study: undertaking power flow modelling and simulations, conducting short circuit analysis and power system stability analyses;
- Grid connection impact study: undertaking detailed power engineering study to assess the impact on the power system when a new power plant is connected to the national power system;
- IT infrastructure: consulting on Intelligent Technology infrastructure to support power plant operations and operations in electricity markets, optimization solution, Artificial Nature Network (ANN) and database management.
